150 days before the Summit – Evaluation completed

Scheduled for September 6, 7 and 8, 2024 at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal, the National Black Canadians Summit is THE MUST ATTEND event of the year.

Context

Aligned with the United Nations’ International Decade for People of African Descent (2014-2024), the National Black Canadians Summit organized by the Michaëlle Jean Foundation was created BY and FOR black people across the country. It addresses critical issues specific to our communities, associated with three pivotal themes: Recognition, Justice, Development.

Submissions have been evaluated not only on the basis of their relevance, but also for their innovative and inclusive character, and their ability to mobilize Summit participants.

A big thank you to everyone who submitted their proposals for the 2024 National Black Canadians Summit. Your dedication and ideas are essential to making this event a success. Stay tuned, as we will soon announce the official program. – Edward L Matwawana, Executive Director
