This art collage is based on words and images of power and inspiration. It showcases different Black youth through time from youth to adulthood. In the piece, Damini wove in Kente cloth to show our connection as Black people to our African roots. Through magazine cutouts, she was able to use different everyday words to communicate words of power and meaning. The main image of the woman in the center signifies the future of youth and the amount of power we have to change the world together.
